I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #22055) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (MCP) from Adler University. I am a professional member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Additionally, my diverse background in business, construction, and working with neurodivergent individuals allows me to offer a unique perspective in therapy.
My personal journey towards becoming a therapist began after a motor vehicle accident over a decade ago when I discovered the transformative power of therapy in my own emotional recovery. I am passionate about counselling and grateful for the opportunity to help others in their healing.
HeartMath has been my answer for how to approach trauma healing from the bottom-up as opposed to only the top-down as is often the case in traditional talk therapy. I have incorporated HeartMath into each in-person session at the start and end as a form of bio-feedback that helps clients become more in tune with their head-heart connection. I can now track client's baselines across months and have more of a pulse on their heart rate variability (HRV).
