Marty is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and HeartMath®️ Certified Coach who helps busy professional women achieve a healthier, happier, more productive, vibrant life by helping them discover and implement solutions to conquer their stress.
The negative effects of stress are the source of so many physical, emotional, and mental problems — not only major events that we can easily recognize as stressful, like divorce, loss of a job, or the death of a loved one — but also what we consider and accept as the “normal” daily hassles of life. These common every-day stressors have a cumulative effect and lead to damaging chronic stress.
Marty earned her holistic health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and her HeartMath®️ coaching certification from The Institute of HeartMath®️. She is constantly advancing her education by completing relevant courses / workshops, and continually researching related data.
In her prior professional life, Marty worked in Human Resources for over 16 years, managing and administering employee health and welfare benefits. In 2011, she co-created and launched the company's first employee wellness program. Marty continued to develop and run the program until she left the corporate world in 2015. She is a former member of WELCOA, the Wellness Council of America, from which she earned numerous wellness certificates and achieved the status of WELCOA faculty member.
Marty moved to North Carolina in September 2015 after being a lifelong Connecticut resident. She is the mother of three adult daughters and grandmother to a very energetic 4 year old granddaughter, all living close by in North Carolina.
How I use the HeartMath System
Marty not only uses the HeartMath®️ System to build her own resilience to stress, but, as a certifiedHeartMath®️ Coach, she helps busy professional women achieve stress resilience and coherence by introducing them to theHeartMath®️ System. She encourages women to harness the energy of stress and make it work for them instead of against them.
