I’m the Founder of Resilience for Life, a one-woman business that I established in 2000. I’m also one of the first Health & Wellness coaches to receive credentialing from the National Medical Board (NBC-HWC).
With certifications in Ayurveda, and yoga therapy (C-IAYT), I’ve served as a spokesperson and educator for Humana, and as a Senior Faculty of the Integral Yoga Academy for fourteen years. For two years I worked as a Dr. Dean Ornish Faculty as a Stress Management Specialist. Additionally, I’ve presented stress reduction programs at the National Institutes for Health, IBM, Columbia University, Coby, Panasonic, JCC Manhattan and the Arthritis Foundation, among others.
My greatest passion comes from helping others realize the connection between mind, body and heart. Skillfully blending ancient wisdom with modern science, I mentor clients in implementing useful, positive habits to master the art of emotional self-regulation and lasting behavioral change.
How I use the HeartMath System
I use HeartMath in my private practice, coaching people all over the world via ZOOM. I also present HeartMath's Resilience Advantage workshops in-person in New York City and San Francisco multiple times each year.
I enjoy receiving referrals from Functional Medicine Practitioners. Since as much as 98% of healthcare takes place outside the clinical setting, I find that teaching the HeartMath tools to my clients help them to implement and sustain positive behavior change and to improve adherence.
