Marco Ayala

Marco Ayala is a pediatrician with over 30 years of clinical practice and a certified executive coach specializing in vertical leadership development for senior executives and healthcare leaders in Latin America. His work integrates HeartMath's cardiac coherence protocols with adult vertical development frameworks (Kegan, Torbert, Cook-Greuter) and cognitive leadership analysis — a combination that allows precise diagnostic work on why a leader produces the impact they produce, and what structurally limits it. As a HeartMath Certified Practitioner, Marco applies HRV-based coherence training not as a wellness complement to coaching, but as a core clinical variable in leadership development. He works with executives who have reached the ceiling of what conventional development programs can resolve — where the limiting factor is no longer competence, but the physiological and cognitive architecture from which they lead. He is the founder of ELEVA — the first vertically-informed, clinically-grounded leadership development institute in Latin America.
