Neil is a passionate mindfulness educator and presenter who specialises in helping people develop mindful living skills in an exploding information age. A time when having skills in stress management, resilience, self-awareness and self-regulation are paramount for peak performance both professionally and personally.
Neil is a qualified senior educator for Mindfulness Works, the largest network of mindfulness facilitators and mindfulness public course providers in Australia and NZ. Neil is also part of Mindfulness Works for Organisations management team. He specialises in providing corporate custom mindful solutions tailored to meet an organisation’s specific drivers and requirements. Neil has worked with numerous clients as part of their staff well-being programs (client list included below).
Neil comes from a corporate background so understands corporate challenges, structures and cultures. He has worked in both public and private sectors across a variety of businesses and areas, including information systems, business intelligence, business improvement, presenting and training. He has worked in senior management and held both senior consultant and technical roles.
Neil developed his mindfulness living skills over the past 20 years, growing both knowledge and application through a significant number of training courses, mentoring, lengthy experiential meditation retreats, practices and workshops. Neil founded Inner Synergy and has qualifications in Mindfulness, Coaching, is an Internationally Certified Resilience & Stress Mgt Coach (using latest biofeedback technologies), Workplace Training, Lean Six Sigma (and numerous other corporate and technical areas). He also trained with Dr Russ Harris in the mindfulness-based “Acceptance Commitment Therapy” (ACT) and with Dr Joe Dispenza (Neuroscientist) relating to the neuroscience behind mindfulness and meditation. He is committed to an ongoing program of professional development and sharing this with others.
How I use the HeartMath System
Combining resilience and stress management training with my deep experience of Mindfulness and practices over the past 20 years. I focus on helping people hollistically understand self awareness, self regulation and self connection and acceptance to build skills in resilience and managing their life. The aim is for a calmer, happier life, more often !
